He is responsible to the Board of Directors for all aspects of our financial and project performance, safety, strategic growth, and long-term customer relationships.

Chief Financial Officer

With more than 20 years of experience at Sargent Electric Company, Beth oversees all financial and accounting functions. She is responsible for internal budgeting and accounting, financial reporting, banking, and insurance relationships, as well as employee retirement and benefit plans. Beth also assists in the strategic direction of the company.

Denis has more than 35 years of operational experience in the electrical contracting industry. He is responsible for our operations divisions which include fleet, warehouse, procurement, and prefabrication. Denis brings years of relevant experience in operational leadership and has a strong working knowledge of best practices and lessons learned in our industry. He is focused on strategic operational excellence at Sargent.

Vice President – Renewable Energy

With over 30 years of experience in the electrical profession, Clay has spent the last 18 primarily in the renewable energy, energy storage, and HV markets. In his role at Sargent he is responsible for the Renewables’ Business Unit nationwide overseeing the financial performance, business development and strategic growth, client relations, pre-construction activities, contract negotiations, construction management, and the general operations of the unit.

Division Manager – Northwest Indiana

Tim brings nearly 25 years of construction and operations experience. He has served a variety of roles within Sargent and brings a wealth of electrical and instrumentation experience on major programs as well as portfolios of fast-track smaller projects. Tim has also served as the Operations Director for the Northwest Indiana Region. He is responsible for the financial performance of our NWI Division which serves major customers throughout Indiana and the Chicago area.

Ben has over 30 years of experience in the electrical contracting industry. Ben is responsible for the overall performance of the Pittsburgh Division that provides coverage for Mid-Atlantic region and includes select projects across the country. As Vice President, Ben leads a business offering full-service strategies for the industrial, renewables, commercial, infrastructure, wireless, and 24/7 service markets.

With more than 42 years of construction, design and business operations experience, Russ has a diverse background overseeing projects including power generation, pulp and paper, textiles, food and beverage, healthcare, institutional and commercial. As Vice President, Russ is responsible for developing and expanding our operations in the upper Midwest and other markets across the US.

Matt has nearly 20 years of construction safety experience. As Sargent’s Safety Director, his responsibilities include developing, implementing, and managing their safety programs and procedures. Matt brings a strong leadership to the Sargent safety team with expertise in safety engineering, light and heavy electrical construction, and loss management.
