Sargent Electric was the electrical contractor for Fluence on the worlds’ largest utility scale battery storage facility. The 1200 MWh BESS is located in the former turbine building at the “Mighty Moss” power plant in Moss Landing, CA. The current project is the first of four phases under agreement to furnish power to PG&E. Sargent supported Fluence from the early stages of development through the completion of the project. Sargent direct hired and employed over 120 union electricians to complete the project on time all during an unprecedented pandemic.
