Project Overview
Sargent partnered with other suppliers to support Pitt Ohio’s sustainability efforts by creating the region’s first 55,000 sq./ft., LEED trucking terminal. Sargent was responsible for completing the electrical system including the sites microgrid. The microgrid is rated at 70 kW, with an average amount of 7 kW. It is powered by a 50 kW PV system, two 12 kW wind turbines, 80 kWh of battery storage, with backup generators.
