The Wabtec Modernization project aims to design and implement a regenerative power system capable of harnessing energy from Cells 3, 4, 5, and 6. The system must be able to achieve full power regeneration at a continuous 100% duty cycle, include full automation and integration into existing test cell control system, monitor all voltages and currents, and provide alarms and system IO.

The system is to function within the power grid specifications and not interfere with any existing equipment and/ or processes, ensure that harmonics are within standard industrial limits, and supply any and all necessary filtering to achieve clean power back to the power grid. Additionally, we are responsible for supplying maintenance and operator training as required, and all engineering including but not limited to power 1-lines, equipment specifications, equipment installation instructions and supervision, Power Study, Harmonic Study, control design, and Drive design.
